5 Lessons I've Learned From Real Estate

Yesterday marks 5 years to the day since I got my real estate license. ?

Here are five lessons I’ve learned about real estate during that time. Owning a business is full of ups and downs—through it all I’m so grateful for how I’ve grown as a businesswoman, a wife and mom.

You may be surprised to hear this, but 87% of real estate agents quit before making it 5 years. It’s a tough business…BUT as you can tell, I’m here to stay and am just getting started!!

One of the biggest things I’ve learned is how important it is to be surrounded by the right people who help with focus, accountability and encouragement when things go wrong as they inevitably do.

A huge shoutout to all my real estate besties and coaches who have been there for me throughout the last five years, especially @lindsaygordonrealtor , @lernotto , @heather_curry_realtor , @markoegema , @kristenoegema , @lukebouman , @ellen.j.jansen , @killingergroup.pittsburgh , @dianam_chicagorealtor , @jfkliving , @pip.jfkliving , @tammy_woodbury_realtor@thecrossgroup , @kimmathisrealtor , @sara_capecchi_realtor , @stuffmitchdoes@farr.groupnw@eileencain_ , @jasonpantana , @tomferry , @craigdeboor and more! There are so many others who have been such an encouragement as well! Cheers to what comes next! ?
